OrganiCup is entirely made of soft medical silicone, respecting the body and avoiding the danger of infection and dryness. Another advantage of OrganiCup is that it lasts years (not hours), reducing waste production and monthly expenses.
The box contains the silicone cup and an organic cotton bag for transport. The operating instructions are written on the packaging card to avoid further waste.
HOW TO USE IT?
1. Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water, for 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to let the cup touch the bottom of the pot.
2. Fold the cup and insert it by holding it bent. There are several ways to fold the cup. When the cup is fully inserted, just let it open.
3. Touch the cup to perceive its base: it should be rounded or oval and not have noticeable bends. If you notice any bulges, gently rotate the base of the cup (not the stem) so that it opens altogether.
4. Remove the menstrual cup. Pull the stem slightly as you use your abdominal muscles to push the OrganiCup down, until you can reach the base. Pinch the base of the cup to let in the air and facilitate extraction. Avoid pulling the cup by pulling the stem, it could cause discomfort.
5. Empty and reinsert.
To get used to the cup, it may take a few days or several cycles. Try different folding and inserting techniques, and don’t worry: soon you will become a faithful user of the cup!
