Description
The Lil Joey nappy is an all-in-one nappy for newborns weighing between 1.8 and 5.4 kg.
It is made up of 4 layers of microfibre that have been permanently sewn into the heart of the nappy, with no need for padding. The Lil Joey is waterproof and does not require a cover. The inside of each layer is designed with two inner gussets forming a double barrier against leaks. Thanks to its snap fastening on the front, this nappy keeps the umbilical cord outside the nappy, keeping it dry. Once the umbilical cord has dried and fallen off, the button can be unclipped.
Kanga Care uses water-resistant TPU polyester, which is a solvent-free polyester fabric that has been laminated with thermoplastic polyurethane using a chemical-free, hot-bonding process. This process is low-toxic and more environmentally friendly than traditional PUL.
Washing instructions:
1. Cold rinse
2. Hot wash: add the amount of detergent recommended for the size of the load.
3. Cold rinse
4. Tumble dry at low temperature or lay flat in indirect sunlight.
Please note:
– Before the first use, the nappies must be prepared. Wash 5 times in hot water (without detergent) with a cold rinse and tumble dry at medium temperature. This shrinks the nappies to the correct size and improves absorption. The nappies will have maximum absorbency after 10 washes, but you can start using them after 5 washes.
– Please enquire about the detergent to use on cloth nappies – bleach is not recommended. Fabric softeners have a negative effect on absorbency.
