A bodysuit extension is a small piece of fabric with press studs at both ends that buttons onto an ordinary bodysuit and extends it by 7 cm, or about one size.

These extensions are very useful for night-time nappies or larger cloth nappies. The extra crotch length fits easily over a fitted nappy with extra inserts and a cover, and prevents the fabric from stretching. This prevents leaks through compression.
